With the motto “United in the bond of friendship, Barura Club ’92, prosperous Barura, prosperous Bangladesh”, the day-long Mega Get-Together-2024 of Barura Club ’92 was celebrated grandly on Saturday, December 28, ’24 at Red Wing Restaurant, Latifpur, Barura, Comilla. At 10:30 am, the Mega Get-Together of about a hundred friends of the SSC 1992 batch of Barura Upazila was celebrated in the hall room of Red Wing Restaurant. The day’s program began with the reading of the holy scriptures and ended at around 7:30 pm.
Barura Club ’92 was established in 2023 with the sincerity of the friends of SSC-1992 to strengthen the bond of friendship. In the light of a well-written constitution, Barura Club ’92 is continuing through service social programs and cultural activities to further strengthen the bond of friendship. In continuation of that, the Mega Get-Together-2024 of Barura Club ’92 was celebrated on Saturday with the joint cooperation of the friends.
In this mega get-together, friends from Comilla District ’92, especially a few friends from Comilla city, also came together for such an event. About a hundred friends were together all day chatting, eating, taking pictures, dancing, and singing. There were no guardians here, not even juniors. As a result, the day was wonderfully enjoyable with each other. It was as if we had lost that year 1992 when we took the SSC exam.
After completing their education, friends are working in different professions. In such mega get-togethers, some of the friends are businessmen, some are employees, some are politicians, some are staying in the Middle East or Europe. Then, with the overall financial support of friends, such enlightening mega get-togethers have been held. In such get-togethers of friends, cultural programs, friend introduction meetings, raffle draws. At the beginning, the programs started with the recitation of the Quran and the reading of the Gita. Prayers were offered for the deceased friends.
In order to further accelerate the continuous activities of the Barura Club ’92, the friends of the entrepreneurs will organize a large-scale picnic for all the members of the Barura Club ’92 in February of the coming new year.
