Mohammad Sharifizzamam (Special Correspondent): Shuvasish Bhowmick officially received the “Golden Visa Certificate” of the United Arab Emirates government in this special category for his contribution as a content creator in the overall support and guidance of Banglanext. In this case, the honorable founder General Secretary of Banglanext, Ali Akbar Asha, provided overall support and guidance on behalf of Banglanext. According to the list of the Media Council of the United Arab Emirates government, no Bangladeshi has received this honor in the “Content Creators” category before.
However, earlier from Bangladesh, mega star Shakib Khan received this honorary Golden Residency Visa of the United Arab Emirates government in the Media Professional category and Keramat Ullah Biplob in the Expert Journalist category through the same medium. Also from India, actor and superstar Rajinikanth, Shahrukh Khan, Sanjay Dutt and tennis star Sania Mirza have received the Golden Residency of the United Arab Emirates.
Although many expatriate Indians and Bangladeshis have received Golden Residency in the UAE in various fields including investment and business. It is also called Golden Visa. It is a special program of the Emirates government. Holders of this visa get a special status in the country. The Media Council of the Emirates government has taken special consideration for media professionals as content creators of Shuvasish Bhowmick.
This facility is given to special categories of distinguished professionals from different countries. Although those who receive Golden Residency are not citizens of the Emirates, they get various benefits including education, medical care, business, attending government events, and privileges at the airport.
