Another mine explosion occurred on the Naikshongchhari border. A Bangladeshi teenager’s leg was blown off. Panic spread in the area after another mine explosion in 10 days. The injured teenager is Md. Tariqul Islam Prakash Taki (16), son of Ahmed Rashid of Mahishkum area of ​​Kawarkhop union in Paswarwati Ramu upazila.
The incident took place on Monday (February 3) at 11:30 am in No-Man’s Land near Fultoli border number 48 of Sadar union of Naikshongchhari upazila in Bandarban. Confirming the matter, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Naikshongchhari police station Masurul Haque said that locals rescued him from the scene and first took him to Naikshongchhari Upazila Health Complex. When his condition deteriorated there, he was taken to Cox’s Bazar Medical College Hospital for advanced treatment on the advice of a doctor.
