Mohammad Sharifuzzaman (Special Correspondent): A cordial Iftar Mahfil was organized by the Bangladesh Students Association in Turkey (BASAT) with the participation of Bangladeshis residing in Bursa, Turkey.
Mr. Habibullah Muradi, Student Coordinator of İpekyolu International Student Organization, was present as a guest at the Iftar Mahfil. Mr. Mamun Bin Alam, Assistant Professor of Istanbul Aydin University, was present as a special guest. Azizul Haque, Russell Ahmed, Moazzem Hossain Jewel and many other important personalities were present among the prominent figures of Bangladeshi community in Bursa.
The expatriate Bangladeshis living in Bursa gathered together and had Iftar in a cordial atmosphere. A special iftar with traditional Bangladeshi food was served to the guests.
Al Amin Kabir, a member of the editorial board of BASAT, served as the overall coordinator of the event. Nahid Parvez, Mir Shahriar Jahan Shovon, Mohammad Ali Zisan and Muntasir Afnan Efdi assisted in the organization.
BASAT expressed its sincere gratitude to those who helped make this event a success. It was hoped that BASAT would play an active role in organizing larger scale Bangladeshi community events in Bursa in the future.
