Eati Akter: Bangladesh Journalists’ Unity Council organized an Iftar Mahfil and distributed Eid honorary checks to journalists on Monday afternoon at the Fakirapul Hotel Center in Rahmania International Rooftop Hall in Dhaka.
Bangladesh Journalists’ Unity Council’s founding chairman Sabbir Ahmed Rony presided over the program, with Bangladesh Nationalist Party BNP’s Religious Affairs Secretary Rafiqul Islam Jamal as the chief guest.
The program was inaugurated by Bangladesh Journalists’ Unity Council’s chief spokesperson Khan Nazrul Islam Hannan.
The welcome speaker was Mac Tower Limited Chairman Lion Md. Bashiruzzaman.
The keynote speaker was Bangladesh Online Media Association (BOMA) President Shariful Islam Khan Dollar.
The special guests were Desh Television’s Head of News Mohiuddin, Bangladesh Mofusal Journalists Forum’s Board of Trustees Chairman Ahmed Abu Zafar, Bangla Academy’s Lifetime Member Lion Khan Akhtaruzzan MJF, Bangladesh Journalists’ Unity Council’s Chief Advisor Md. Monirul Islam, Swapin Foundation Chairman Manjurul Islam Tipu.
At the end of the program, Bangladesh Journalists’ Unity Council’s Founder Secretary General Md. Moktar Hossain expressed his vote of thanks.
The organization’s Joint Secretary General Rafiqul Huda Babu, Organizing Secretary Mustafizur Rahman and others were present at the time.
The event was organized by the convener of the event celebration committee, journalists Sayem Islam Tutul and Zahirul Qayyum Mithu.
