Staff Reporter: Bangladesh Journalists’ Unity Council organized an Iftar-prayer mahfil and Eid food items were distributed at the Tejgaon Government Children’s Orphanage.
Bangladesh Journalists’ Unity Council’s founding chairman Sabbir Ahmed Roni presided over the event, with Bangladesh Nationalist Party BNP executive member Advocate Rafiq Sikder as the chief guest.
Also present were media personality writer, poet Raju Alim, columnist Forum of Bangladesh Secretary General Mir Abdul Alim, Dainik Swadesh Bichitra Publisher and Editor Ashok Dhar, Swapneen Foundation Chairman Manjurul Islam Tipu, Bangladesh Human Rights Foundation Director Md. Rokonuzzaman Rocky Bhuiyan, Bangladesh Journalists’ Unity Council Secretary General Md. Moktar Hossain, Joint Secretary General Rafiqul Huda Babu, and the event celebration committee convener Md. Zahidur Rahman Mithu, among others.
