The “Bangladesh Journalists Association” Debidwar Upazila Branch Committee has been formed. On Sunday afternoon, Comilla District Committee President Yasmin Rima and General Secretary Shahazada Emran approved the 11-member committee, making Mohana TV’s Debidwar correspondent Md. Fakhrul Islam Sagar the president, Daily Inquilab correspondent Md. Faruk Hossain Joni the general secretary, and Daily Mukta Khabar’s Md. Ariful Islam the organizing secretary.
Other members of the committee are: Md. Jamal Uddin Dulalal of the Daily Jaya Zaydin newspaper as senior vice president, Md. Omar Faruk Sarkar of the Daily Khabarpatro as vice president, Md. Abu Musa of the Daily Bhorer Kagoj as joint general secretary, Md. Nasir Uddin of Alokot Bangladesh as finance secretary, Md. Shah Al-Amin Amanat of the Daily Present Times as publicity secretary, Md. Nawsad Chowdhury of the Daily Dhiraan as executive members, Asif Sarkar and Ibrahim Munshi of Comilla Telescope Online.
