Comilla, February 8: A huge workers’ conference has been held at the initiative of Bijoypur Union No. 1 of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Sadar Dakshin Upazila. After a long 17 years, this workers’ conference was organized in Bijoypur Union, which created great enthusiasm among the local workers and supporters.
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s Central Working Committee member and Comilla Metropolitan Ameer Kazi Din Mohammad was present as the chief guest at the conference. He said, “The laws of Allah and His Messenger (PBUH) will be established in this country only through the victory of Jamaat.”
Comilla Metropolitan Jamaat’s Nayeb-e-Ameer Mohammad Musleh Uddin, Professor AKM Emdadul Haque Mamun, Nagar Jamaat Secretary Mu. Mahbubur Rahman and Sadar Dakshin Upazila Jamaat’s Ameer Mizanur Rahman spoke as special guests at the workers’ conference. Besides, Comilla University Chhatra Shibir President Yusuf Islahi and other leaders of Jamaat were present.
The conference was presided over by Bijoypur Union Jamaat President Mominul Islam, and the Union Secretary Shahadat Hossain Shaheen moderated the event.

Professor AKM Emdadul Haque Mamun said, “We are working to build a moral and Islamic welfare state.”

The leaders expressed hope that this successful workers’ conference of Bijoypur Union Jamaat after a long 17 years will further strengthen the party’s organizational foundation.
