A discussion meeting and Iftar Mahfil was organized by Bangladesh Ideal Teachers Federation Comilla Metropolitan. The event was held at 4 pm on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at Tomshambridge Ibn Taymiyya Convention Hall, Comilla. The event, organized in honor of teachers, was attended by Professor Mohammad Shamsul Islam, Chairman of Comilla Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, as the chief guest.
Abdus Sattar, Coordinator Ideal Teachers Federation (Comilla-Noakhali Region), Professor AKM Emdadul Haque Mamun, Advisor Ideal Teachers Federation, Comilla Metropolitan, Professor Ali Ahmed presided over the meeting.

Shamim Haider, Vice Principal of Dhanuakhala College, Language Soldier Ajit Guha College, Mostaq Ahmed.

The chief guest said in his speech, “We have not been able to hold any meeting for the last 15 years, but now it is very important for us to unite. This solidarity of ours will prevent all kinds of irregularities and will play a role in building a state based on justice and fairness.” He emphasized on taking necessary steps to increase the respect and dignity of teachers and called for further expansion of the activities of the federation.
The speakers present at the event discussed the rights of teachers, development of the education system and the practice of ethics and justice in the field of education. They said that the role of teachers is immense in building a developed society and education system, and all teachers must be more active in fulfilling this responsibility.
At the end of the discussion meeting, a special prayer was offered for the well-being of the country and the nation and iftar was served in honor of the teachers. The entire event turned into a gathering, where teachers and teacher leaders from different levels of Comilla participated.
