Nahid Rana is now on top of all the Bangladeshi pacers in terms of speeding up the batsmen. This time, Nahid’s speed was defeated by Jasswi Jaiswal, who scored a half-century after holding one end for a long time.
Jaiswal touched the bat without understanding Nahid’s 148 km/h delivery. Sadman Islam took the catch at first slip. The Indian opener made his way to Sajghar with 56 off 118 balls and 9 boundaries.
In the next over, Lokesh Rahul (16 from 52 balls) fell in the whirlwind trap of Mehdi Hasan Miraj. Zakir Hasan took a great low catch at short leg. Bangladesh caught India again by picking up 2 wickets in 5 balls.

There was a possibility of wickets falling in between. In the fourth over of the innings, a great delivery from Hasan Mahmood hit Rohit Sharma directly on the pads. The umpire did not respond to Bangladesh’s strong appeal.
Bangladesh took the review because it was a close call. The review showed that the ball would have touched the top of the stumps. But luckily Rohit Sharma survived as the umpires called. It would have been out if the umpire gave it out.
But Rohit could not use that opportunity. Hasan Mahmood picked up the Indian captain in his next over. Rohit got an edge in his swing and was caught by Nazmul Hossain Shantar at second slip. He scored 6 runs off 19 balls.
Then Shubman Gill was also returned for zero runs by Hasan Mahmud. Gill was caught by wicketkeeper Liton Das touching the bat as it went out to his leg side.
Virat Kohli, one of the pillars of Indian batting, could not stand in front of Hasan. He returned with a catch to the wicketkeeper while playing a drive in a great outswing for 6 runs. India lost 3 wickets for 34 runs, all wickets by Hasan.
