33 infantry division champions and 55 infantry division runners-up in Bangladesh Army Assault Course Competition held at Comilla Cantonment.
Bangladesh Army Chief of General Staff Lt. Gen. Ataul Hakim Sarwar Hasan, SBP(Bar), SGP, NDC, A FWC, PSC, Ph.D., 33 Infantry Division and Comilla Area Commander were present on Wednesday afternoon.
55 Infantry UP Lance Corporal Khairul Enam became the best competitor and Soldier Sohrab Ali of 33 Infantry Division got the honor of being the 2nd best competitor by showing exceptional performance in the competition. 17 teams from different regions of Bangladesh Army participated in this competition which started from December 9.
In the closing and prize distribution ceremony of the competition 2023 held at Comilla Cantonment, the President of the Management Committee, Brigadier General Md. Farooq Howladar, AFWC, PSC, Commander, 44 Infantry Brigade, Member Secretary Lt. Col. BM Salim Reza Shafiq, PSC, GSO-1, 33 Infantry Division of the Army. Senior officers, officers of various units of Comilla Cantonment, junior commissioned officers and soldiers of other ranks were present.
The speakers of the closing ceremony expressed the hope that through this competition, intellectual and physical ability, improving the quality of training and mutual camaraderie will be strengthened among the members of the army.
