Bangabandhu and Bangmata Sheikh Fazilatunnessa Mujib Gold Cup Primary School Football Tournament Upazila level final game and prize distribution ceremony was held at Rajapur of Jhalkathi. Organized by Upazila Administration and Department of Primary Education, prizes were distributed among the winners after the final game at Rajapur Model Pilot High School ground at 11 am on Tuesday.
Upazila Chairman Milan Mahmud Bachchu was the chief guest on the occasion. Upazila Vice Chairman Abdullah Al Hasan Bappi, Female Vice Chairman Nasreen Akhtar and others were the special guests in the function under the chairmanship of Acting Upazila Nirbahi Officer Hasan Mohammad Shoaib. Upazila Primary Education Officer Aktar Hossain and many others were present in the event.
In the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Primary School Gold Cup Football Tournament held at the upazila level, No. 56 Arua Government Primary School defeated No. 30 Rajapur Model Government Primary School and Bangmata Sheikh Fazilatunnecha Mujib Primary School defeated No. 11 Paschim Naikathi Government Primary School by 1 nil in the Gold Cup Football Tournament held at the upazila level. By defeating No. 22 Sangarh Government Primary School became champion at the upazila level. The winning team will compete at the district level followed by an opportunity to play at the divisional and national levels.
