A scholarship awarding ceremony 2024 was held at Barura, Comilla organized by Amratali Late Abu Taher Smriti Foundation.
Scholarship examination was held at 10 am on Saturday November 9 at Amratali C Ali High School with the participation of students from various educational institutions of primary and secondary level.
In this, 1730 students of 4th and 5th standard in primary and 8th and 10th in secondary participated in the scholarship examination. On this day, the talent pool scholarship of the students participating in the scholarship examination is 41 people in the general grade, 60 people in the general grade, a total of 101 people, in the middle school, the talent pool scholarship in the 8th and 10th grade is 30 people in the general grade.
A total of 70 people received scholarships. In addition, 1 scholarship is awarded from each participating school.
Zakaria Taher Sumon, former Member of Parliament of Comilla-8 Barura Constituency, was present as the chief guest at the scholarship awarding ceremony under the chairmanship of late Abu Taher Smriti Foundation President Md. Abu Sayem at 3 pm today. The special guests were prominent social worker Abdul Haque, founder of Shaherbanu and Ideal School and College, Barura Upazila BNP President Advocate Khairul Enam Taufiq, Vice President Kaiser Alam Salim, Barura Shaheed Smriti Government College Associate Professor Md Abul Hossain, Barura Police Station Officer In-Charge Kazi Nazmul Haque, Amratali Cherag Ali High School founder Md. Shah Alam Babul.
Dilip Chandra Ghosh spoke on the occasion under the joint supervision of Amratali Government Primary School Headmaster Md. Soleman Hossain, Abdul Hannan, Jamshed Haider Ripon.
At this time, along with head teachers and teacher representatives from various educational institutions, journalists and society leaders were present.
It should be noted that one mango tree sapling was distributed to all the students who participated in the scholarship examination of the late Abu Taher Smriti Foundation along with cash certificates.
