Gazi Md Geyas Uddin: Awami League presidium member and former minister Amir Hossain Amu has been arrested by Dhaka Metropolitan Detective (DB) Police.
DB arrested him from Dhanmondi area of the capital on Wednesday (November 6).
Additional Commissioner of Police (Investigation) Rezaul Karim Mallick confirmed the arrest.
He said that there are multiple murder cases against Amir Hossain Amu. He will be arrested in a case and handed over to the court for remand.
