Chairman of Child and Old Age Care Ashram Milton Samaddar has been arrested by Detective Police (DB). He was arrested from the capital’s Mirpur area on Wednesday night (May 1).
Additional Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Intelligence Police Haroon Or Rashid confirmed the matter. He said, Milton Samaddar was arrested from Mirpur area. He also said that there are many complaints against him in the name of old age home.
Incidentally, in the reports published in various media recently, there were many allegations against Milton Samaddar, including the sale of human organs and financial irregularities, land grabbing, torture. After that, discussion-criticism started about him on social media.
Milton Samaddar first came into the limelight on social media by building an old age home called ‘Child and Old Age Care’. He and his team collected the sick and vagrants from the streets and sheltered them in the nursing home. He has received various public and private awards in recognition of these activities. His activities are widely publicized on social media.
