An exchange meeting was held to improve the quality of secondary education in Comilla’s Barura.

On Friday, July 12, at 10 a.m., organized by the Barura Upazila Secondary Teachers Association, the president of the organization and headmaster of Ekbaria Hafiz Ahmed High School, Swapan Majumdar, was present as the chief guest in the meeting held at Adda Omedia High School ground of the upazila. Comilla D. District Awami League Vice President OSQ Foundation Chairman Abu was present as the chief guest. Zafar Mohammad Shafiuddin Shamim (MP).

. Newly elected Chairman of Barura Upazila Parishad Md. Hamid Latif Bhuiyan (Kamal), Bangladesh University of Science and Technology (BUET) Professor of Engineering Md. Delwar Hossain, Barura Upazila Secondary Education Officer Ratan Chandra Singh, Barura Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) spoke as special guests. Md. Riaz Uddin Chowdhury, former Mayor of Barura Municipality Md. Bahaduruzzaman Bahadur, Barura Upazila Parishad Vice Chairman Md. Farhad Hossain, Female Vice Chairman Minuara Begum, Principal of Jhlam High School and College Md. Emdadul Haque. On this occasion, Md. Azad Hossain, Headmaster of Dimdul Adarsh ā€‹ā€‹High School and Md. Moniruzzaman, Headmaster of Barura (Model) High School, Md. Mizanur Rahman, General Secretary of the organization and Headmaster of Jor Pukuria High School, Finance Secretary and Headmaster of Payalgach Technical Girls High School Md. Kamruzzaman Biplab, Headmaster of Adda Omedia High School Md. Abdul Wadud Miazi, Headmaster of Chhotulagao High School Md. Golam Mostafa.

Adra Union Parishad Chairman Md. Rakibul Hasan Limon, Adda Union Parishad Chairman Zakir Hossain Badal, Jhlum High School and College Assistant Professor Mohammad Masud Majumdar, Kadba Talagram Tcha Laha High School Headmaster Kazi Md. Ayub Ali, various Barura upazilas were also present. Principal teachers and other leaders from educational institutions were present. Meanwhile, the heads and representatives of various educational institutions highlighted the various problems of educational institutions and teachers in improving the quality of education.

In the speech of the chief guest, Member of National Parliament Abu Zafar Mohammad Shafiuddin Shamim (MP) said that honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has assured all the necessary cooperation to make the heads and teachers of every educational institution as smart and efficient teachers in order to implement Smart Bangladesh. He called on people from all walks of life regardless of party affiliation to build a smart and modern Barura in Barura Upazila.
