Among the houses owned by this Awami League leader who owns three houses, 10 floors named MA Rashid Master Complex – House No. 295, Paschim Tengra, Sarulia, Demra. Master Floor 5th Floor – House No. 70, East Sarulia Demra, Rupganj Thana area has 1 more house. Rashid Master has no legitimate business. He has grabbed crores of rupees from many people in the name of selling flats. Although he was involved in various criminal activities for a long time, he was always out of touch by showing political influence. Locals said that Rashid Master cheated people in the name of selling flats and stole crores of rupees.
Due to the brutal Awami League leader, the victims did not get any help from the law. He was always under the umbrella of Kazi Monirul Islam (Manu), former Member of Parliament of Dhaka-5 Constituency during the Fascist Awami League government. He later did politics with Harun Or-Rashid (Munna), it is a matter of wonder how he became a speech-impaired owner of so much property. At present, the consumers have requested to take action against him during the tenure of the government.
When former Awami League leader Rashid Master was asked about the complaint to the Anti-Corruption Commission, he said, I am the ACC chairman, I have a brother in the ACC, I made the ACC chairman myself.
