Eminent Islamic thinker International Mofachshre Qur’an, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Naib Ameer, 2-time elected former Member of Parliament Allama Delwar Hossain Saeedi, on the occasion of the 1st death anniversary of Allama Delwar Hossain Saeedi’s Saeedi Foundation in Pirojpur organized a discussion meeting and prayers on the life and work of Allama Saeedi. Mahfil has been organized, in the said discussion meeting organized by Allama Saeedee Foundation in the foundation ground under the chairmanship of Shamim bin Saeede, the chairman of Saeede Foundation and Saeede’s son, the negotiators said, Saeede is not among us. But he left his life philosophy and actions as an example for us. For half a century he has preached the message of the Quran in the country and abroad. In his speech, people are inspired by Islamic ideals. The speakers also said that Awami League is anti-Islamic, so they wanted to wipe out Islam from the country by filing false charges of war crimes against the country’s top clerics. Maulana Saeedi has been elected as MP from Pirojpur-1 constituency twice with huge votes. During his tenure, no one of other religions was tortured or persecuted in this electoral area. The speakers also said that the innocent Allama Saeedee demanded the execution of those who were made war criminals.
The general secretary of district Jamaat Islami Md. Zahirul Haque discussed the life of Saeedee, his son Masood bin Saeedee, former upazila chairman of Indurkani upazila, Ameer of district Jamaat-e-Islami Tofajzel Hossain Farid, international Islamic negotiator Maulana Tariq Manowar, Kamrul Islam Saeed Ansari, Dr. Habibur Rahman, Pirojpur District Jamaat-e-Islami Naib Ameer Abdur Rab, Chhotpir Maulana Shah Arif Billah Siddiqui of Charchina Sharif, Miresrai Pir Maulana A. Momen Nacheri, Abdullah Al Amin, Abul Kalam Azad Azhari, former president of Pirojpur Lawyers Association Abul Kalam Akon, Bangladesh Labor Party Chairman Md. Mostafizur Rahman Iran, BNP leader Councilor Assalam Baten, Jamaat leader Abdur Razzak and others.
At the end of the discussion, prayers were offered for Allama Saeedee and the anti-discrimination student movement as well as those killed and injured in the fall of the Hasina government.
