In the speech of the chief guest of the condolence meeting and doa mahfil, Jamaat-e-Islami central working council member and Comilla Metropolitan Ameer Kazi Deen Mohammad Sajidul Islam Omar narrated the tragic shooting death and said that judicial commission has been set up for all the injustices of the Awami League government during the past 15 years of dictatorship. A doa mahfil organized by Jamaat-e-Islami Bijaynagar upazila branch was held in memory of Sajidul Islam Omar, who was killed in the anti-discrimination student movement, at Adampur Fazil Madrasa ground of the upazila at 4 pm on Saturday, August 31.

Mourning meeting and doa mahfil Prayers were offered for the souls of all the victims of the anti-discrimination student movement including Sajidul Islam Omar. Meanwhile, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami gave a cash donation of Tk 2 lakh to the family of the deceased Sajidul Islam Omar.
