Sohel Ahad, Brahmanbaria Representative: In Akhaura Upazila of Brahmanbaria District After about 15 years, the bi-annual conference of the municipal BNP of the upazila was held. The conference was held at Akhaura Shaheed Smriti Degree College ground on Wednesday, November 28 at noon. Comilla Divisional Organizing Secretary of BNP Salim Bhuiyan was the chief guest. Before this, the last conference of Akhaura Upazila BNP was held in 2009. After a long time, there was a festive mood among the leaders and activists around the conference. Leaders and activists of various organizations belonging to Upazila BNP gathered at the meeting place with a procession. Akhaura upazila BNP convenor Zainal Abedin Abdu presided over the conference as special guests, district BNP convenor Abdul Mannan, member secretary Sirajul Islam and member Kabir Ahmed Bhuiyan and others. At the time, the speakers said that BNP played one of the most important roles in covering the students in the July revolution. The elected government will work on reforms.
