Bangladesh Awami League nominated candidate for the upcoming 12th National Parliament election is Rezaul Karim
Soon after allotment of symbols, leaders with boat symbols in Pirojpur-1 constituencies took to the field for campaigning with workers. He started mass communication from Indurkani, the newly merged area of his constituency, from Monday afternoon.
During the campaign, there was great enthusiasm among the leaders of the Awami League and its subsidiary organizations and the common people.
At that time, Indurkani Awami League’s former general secretary Moniruzzaman, freedom fighter commander Abdul Latif and other leaders and workers of the party were with him. It is noted that 19 contesting candidates from three constituencies of the district received symbols from the Returning Officer’s office on Monday.
Out of this, 4 valid candidates got symbols in Pirojpur-1 constituency. They are: SH Rezaul Karim (Boat), AKMA Awal (Eagle), Md. Nazrul Islam (Plough), Md. Yar Hussain Ripon (gold scales).
7 people got symbols in Pirojpur-2 constituency. They are: Anwar Hossain Manju, (Boat) Md. Mohiuddin Maharaj (Eagle), Md. Mahtab Uddin Mahmud (fish), Md. Chagir Mia (dub), Md. Zakir Hosain (Flower Garland), Moha Mizanur Rahman (Syed Monir) (Ektar), Abul Basar (Mango).
7 people got symbols in Pirojpur-3 constituencies. They are Dr. Md. Rastum Ali Faraji (eagle), Md. Mashrekul Azam Ravi (plough), Md. Shahidul Islam (garland), Md. Amir Hossain (mango), Md. Shamim Shahnewaz (banana stick), Md. Jasem Mia (knife), Hossain Mosharraf Saku (dub), Md. Shahidul Isram Swapan (watch).
Total Voters of Pirojpur-1 (Pirojpur-Nazirpur-Indurkani) Constituency: 3,67037. Male voters: 186306 and female voters: 180731.
Total Voters of Pirojpur-2 (Bhandaria-Kaukhali-Nesharabad) Constituency: 3,84513. Male voters: 192835 and female voters: 191678.
Total Voters in Pirojpur-3 (Mathbaria) Constituency: 223441. Among them 112967 male voters and 110474 female voters.
