Special correspondent Today12 April 2025 Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister A. Berris Ekinci met with Information and Broadcasting Advisor to the Interim Government of Bangladesh Md. Mahfuj Alam. The meeting was held on the sidelines of the ‘Antalya Diplomacy Forum, 2025’ in Turkiye on Saturday (April 12). Throughout the meeting, several important issues concerning the diplomatic relations and interests of Turkiye and Bangladesh were addressed. During the discussion, the Deputy Foreign Minister expressed Turkiye’s commitment to continue its cooperation in maintaining stability in Bangladesh. She praised the ongoing reform activities in Bangladesh and expressed her interest in investing in Bangladesh.
Referring to the historical relations of friendship and brotherhood between Turkiye and Bangladesh, Advisor Mahfuj Alam said that Turkish investment in Bangladesh will play a positive role in the economies of the two countries. During the meeting, the Advisor also reiterated the interest of the Bangladesh government in developing relations with Turkiye.
