Jubilee High School Dinajpur AP, World Vision Bangladesh organized the 6-month long training and certificates with girls from 7 schools and various communities in the city on Thursday, September 19, with the slogan “Self-belief is our strength”.

Dinajpur AP, Senior Manager of World Vision Bangladesh Arvind Sylvester Gomez spoke as the chief guest Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime, Operation and Accomplishment). Anwar Hossain. Upazila secondary education officer Mirazul Islam, research officer of Dinajpur district education office Rezaul Islam, officer in charge of Dinajpur Kotyali police station spoke as special guests. Farid Hossain, Jubilee High School Principal Bunu Biswas, Iqbal High School Principal Selima Sultana, Girijanath High School Principal Masud Alam, Idgah Balika High School Principal Md. Fazlur Rahman. Chief Guest Additional Superintendent of Police. Anwar Hossain said martial arts (Karate) trainees have enhanced security to ensure girls enjoy basic freedom on an equal footing with boys. The main objective of martial arts training is to teach self-defense skills to girls to protect themselves from violence, positive participation of boys to protect girls from gender-based violence, and adoption of advanced formal and informal measures at all levels to protect girls from gender-based violence. Remember, awareness is self defense karate training will light up your life. Shaolin Wushu Taichi Kungfu Academy President Master Md. Shariful Islam Speaking on behalf of the trainees, Dinajpur Jubilee High School student Drishti Roy Megha said, through this training we will work to prevent physical and mental violence. We will be vocal in preventing child marriage. We will spread the education and knowledge gained among others. We will be enlightened people and make children from all walks of life dream of becoming enlightened people. I will make children and people aware to remove the obstacles of the society. Akram Hossain Bablu, assistant headmaster of Jubilee High School, performed the duties of moderator. At the end, the chief guest and special guest distributed the certificates to the trained students of Dual Martial Arts Program-2024. Program Officer Lucky Hasda was in overall supervision.
