 With the slogan “Unnat Palli Umadhat Desh, Bangabandhu’s Sonar Bangladesh” in front of the slogan, Paba Upazila BRDB office of Rajshahi organized a courtyard meeting with the beneficiaries of the old Fudkipara Mahila Palli Development Team.
Also on this day, a group discussion was held on the beneficiaries of the Aliganj Livelihood Village i.e. Ek Panya Ek Palli (Paper Thonga Palli) in the mid-term evaluation of the project titled Rural Livelihood Project-3rd Phase implemented by BRDB with the help of the beneficiaries and the local people of the area.
Earlier, Upazila Executive Officer Lasmi Chakma welcomed the chief guest on behalf of Paba Upazila administration.
On Friday (July 14) afternoon, the chief guest at the courtyard meeting and party discussion meeting was Additional Secretary of Planning Ministry and Director General of Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation Department (IMED). Zaheer Raihan.
Under the supervision of Upazila Rural Livelihood Project Officer Nazrul Islam, Planning Ministry IMED Deputy Secretary Saiful Islam Mondal, Rural Livelihood Project Project Director Alamgir Hossain Al Newaz, Paba Upazila Parishad Vice Chairman Wazed Ali Khan, Rajshahi District Deputy Director AKM Zakirul were present. Islam and DPD Saeed Al Hasan, Head Office Assistant Director Azharul Islam Khan, Paba Upazila Rural Development Officer Shamsunnahar, Hargram Union Parishad Chairman Abul Kalam Azad and Ward No. 7 Member Zakir Hossain, local dignitaries, officials and employees of Upazila Rural Development Office were among the beneficiaries.Â
