A school teacher died after being hit by a train in Laksam Comilla

Roshan binte Shafiq (44), a school teacher, died on the spot on Friday morning (May 19) adjacent to North Laksam Girls School in Laksam town of Comilla when she was cut down by the Dhaka-bound Coastal Express train. According to local and eyewitness sources, the head was separated from the body after being cut under the Dhaka-bound Intercity Coastal Express train leaving Noakhali. The teacher is the daughter of deceased Safiqul Hossain. He is a teacher at Laksam Government Pilot High School. The teacher lives temporarily in a rented house in North Laksam city. In this regard, Laxam Railway Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md. Jasim Uddin has confirmed the truth of the incident. The body has been sent to Comilla Medical Hospital for post-mortem.
