A-League’s 75th foundation anniversary celebrated in Sonaimuri

Bangladesh Awami League, the oldest and traditional largest political party in South-East Asia, Sonaimuri Upazila Branch celebrated its 75th founding anniversary on Sunday, June 23, 2024 by placing wreaths on the portrait of the great architect of freedom Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, discussing and cutting a cake.

Sonaimuri Upazila Awami League general secretary and newly elected upazila chairman A, F, M Babul (Babu) led by Sonaimuri Upazila A-League and thousands of leaders and workers of different unions Awami League, Youth League, Farmers League, Volunteer League, Shree League, Olama League, Chhatra League and various allied organizations. Gathered at Sonaimuri Government College ground at 9:30 am.

Sonaimuri Upazila A-League Secretary AFM Babul (Babu), Sonaimuri Municipal Mayor VP Nurul Haque Chowdhury spoke at the foundation anniversary discussion. Noakhali Zilla Parishad Panel Mayor VP Mahfuzur Rahman (Bahar), Upazila Vice Chairman and Jubo League convener Khalilur Rahman (Liton), Municipal League Secretary and Councilor Hafez Abu Bakar Siddique (Dulal) and others.

Apart from that, Noakhali District League Member Abu Sayem, Women Vice Chairman Ayesha Akhtar (Parul), Municipal League President Mizanur Rahman Babul, former Jubo League President Mosharef Hossain Dulal, Upazila Chhatra League President Arif Hossain (Arif), General Secretary were present. Russell Mahmud (Shraban) and leaders of different units of Chhatra League.

After the discussion, the rally started from the Sonaimuri college grounds and after the circuit of the main main road of Sonaimuri, the rally ended at the Sonaimuri upazila square.
