Adimari Upazila Awami League Vice President Mizanur Rahman has been expelled from the party due to his involvement in BCS question leak incident.
This information was confirmed in a circular signed by Upazila Awami League President Mohammad Ali and Secretary Rafiqul Alam on Saturday (July 13) afternoon.
The expelled Mizanur Rahman is the son of deceased Abu Bakkar Siddique of Dakshin Balapara Kutirpar village of Mahishkhocha union of upazila.Ā  He was the vice president of Upazila Awami League.
According to local leaders and activists, the much talked about incident of the BCS question leak cycle is under the attention of the administration.Ā  A partial list of the cycle was also published in the media.
Aditmari Upazila Awami League Vice President Mizanur Rahman alias MD Mizan comes in that list.Ā  Mizanur Rahman Mizan took the post of vice-president in the new committee by infiltrating Bangladesh Awami League.
He established an organization in Dhaka called Mac Six Private Company Limited.Ā  The chairman of which is himself.Ā  He is known as MD Mizan in the area as MD of the company as he has multiple Mizans.
Recently, the name of the BCS question paper cycle was published in the media.Ā  As the name of Mizanur Rahman Mizan came up there, he was expelled from the post of vice-president in the emergency meeting of the Upazila Awami League on Saturday afternoon.
According to the notification, the Vice President of Upazila Awami League, Mizanur Rahman, was expelled from his post on charges of being involved in anti-organizational, indiscipline, criminal and activities that undermine the dignity of the organization.Ā  Upazila Awami League president Mohammad Ali and secretary Rafiqul Alam signed the expulsion notice.
Editor Rafiqul Alam confirmed the truth of the expulsion and said, “We had a preconceived notion.”Ā  But when asked to know, Mizan used to tell us that I have given up on these things now.Ā  Still we had our doubts.Ā  This was confirmed after the news was published in the media.Ā  Later he was expelled from the post in an emergency meeting.Ā  An expulsion letter has also been sent to his address.
