House burnt to ashes in Talagram of Comilla’s Barura municipality. On Wednesday, November 8, a fire broke out in the house of Md. Salim Jahan, assistant teacher of Talagram Government Primary School, son of Minnat Ali, in the evening of Talagram District Master. The house was burnt to ashes. Barura fire service unit brought the fire under control. According to local sources, it is believed that the fire may have started from the short circuit of the refrigerator in the residence. Of the 4 lakh rupees in cash in the house (building), about two and a half lakh rupees were completely burnt in the fire and it is believed that there has been a loss of about 40 lakh rupees, including jewelry, furniture, furniture and one and a half lakh rupees.
In this regard, Barura Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Sabrina Afrin Mustafa said that they received information that the house was burnt down in the fire. He said that the affected families will be assisted through the upazila disaster management department.
