A case filed on charges of vandalism and attack on shops and houses in Amtali

Ah Majid Gazi (65) of Chhota Nilganj village of the upazila has filed a case in the Amtali Senior Judicial Magistrate Court on the charge of looting a chada claim in Amtali, Barguna.
According to the source of the case, on August 5 at 5.30 pm, members of Amtali Upazila Jubo Dal, Md Aminul Islam Mridha (45), Amit Hasan (22), Mehedi Hasan (26), Md A Chhattar Mridha (60), Mizanur Rahman and other people and the accused in the case. Plaintiff Majid Gazi’s son. After demanding chada from Hannan, they beat him and took 50 thousand taka from the cash box of the shop, ransacked the shop house and caused damage and on the same day at 9.00 o’clock the house was ransacked and a red cow worth 80 thousand taka was taken away. At that time, the accused stole money and goods and caused damage of about 5 lakh 10 thousand rupees.
In this matter, the plaintiff’s son Mizanur Rahman filed a case CR 777/24 (Amtali) in the learned Senior Judicial Magistrate-03 court dated 13/08/2024.
The affected Gazi Hannan said that Amtali Upazila Juba Dal member Aminul Islam Mridha Ward No. 6 BNP President Chhattar Mridha and Amtali Sadar Chhatra Dal Vice President Mehedi Mridha along with the plaintiff Majid Gazi, a court case related to the possession of land by the defendants is ongoing Case No. Civil 131/2012 Am They are using their political power to seize land and take steps to drive our family out of the country. I and my family want justice from the higher authorities.
