A Saudi citizen has slaughtered an expatriate Bangladeshi remittance fighter in Saudi Arabia.
The tragic incident took place at 10 am local time on Monday in the area called Al-Subekha in Dammam province of Saudi Arabia.
The expatriate Bangladeshi who was killed is a resident of Bhanga Upazila of Faridpur district.  However, his name and identity were not immediately known.
According to the information, a Saudi citizen stabbed the expatriate Bangladeshi first from behind during a dispute over car parking on the road.  Then, when he fell on the ground injured, he was brutally slaughtered by slitting his throat.
At that time, many expatriate Bangladeshis and citizens of different countries were present at the scene, but no one had the courage to stop him because of the suddenness of the incident and the fact that he had a sharp knife in his hand.
After the murder, the Saudi police were able to arrest the killer while fleeing through Bahrain.
 The murder of a Bangladeshi cast a shadow of mourning among the local diaspora. The body of the deceased has been kept in the freezer of the local hospital.
