 A 7-year-old student named Tinha died after drowning on his way back from school in Charfassion , Bhola. He died on Wednesday (August 23) around 12:30 PM in Surya Khali area of ​​Jahanpur Union of Upazila.
The deceased child student is the daughter of Md. Jamal Mizi of this area and a first class student of Jahanpur Government Primary School No. 52.
The uncle of the deceased child, Sofizal Bepari, said that while returning home from school in the afternoon, the father of the deceased bought potato chips from Surya Khali Bazaar.  While going home with his classmate cousin, Tinha was scared to see a buffalo on the road and passed the field.  Later the classmate cousin went to the house and saw that he had not come home yet, then everyone in the house searched for him a lot and then went to the field and saw that his hard board and chips were floating in the well next to the field.  Finding them floating, he searched in the well and rescued him dead from under the water.
Officer-in-charge of Shashibhushan police station OC M. Enamul Haque confirmed the death and said that a team of police was sent to the spot after receiving the information.  As there was no complaint in the family, the body of the dead child was handed over to the family.
