The 48th martyrdom anniversary and National Mourning Day of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was celebrated in Trishal with humble respect and love.
Upazila Executive Officer Jewel Ahmed, Assistant Commissioner (Lands) Hasan Abdullah Al Mahmud laid wreaths on behalf of Trishal Upazila Administration at Bangabandhu’s mural at the Upazila Parishad premises on Tuesday (August 15) morning. League President Alhaj Abul Kalam Md Shamchuddin, General Secretary Iqbal Hossain and various government officials, freedom fighters, socio-cultural organizations also presented wreaths. Trishal Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Main Uddin led the guard of honor and wreaths were presented. Member of Parliament Alhaj Ruhul Amin Madani attended the commemoration organized at Upazila Parishad hall room by laying wreath.
Jewel Ahmed Upazila Executive Officer, Trishal, Mymensingh presided over the upazila administration discussion meeting on the occasion of observing the 48th martyrdom anniversary and National Mourning Day-2023 of the great architect of independence, Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
All these discussions were held in the Rashedul Islam Conference Hall of Upazila Parishad on the morning of August 15.
