The Prime Minister said this while addressing the chief guest at the ‘Bangmata Begum Fazilatun Nescha Mujib’s 93rd Birth Anniversary Celebration’ and ‘Bangmata Begum Fazilatun Nescha Mujib Padak’ ceremony at the capital’s Osmani Smriti Auditorium on Tuesday (August 8).
Talking about her mother’s life, Sheikh Hasina said that she has developed a humane character since childhood. The ups and downs of life due to father’s political reasons, I never saw my mother break down. She has always supported his father. She even gave him financial support. But the father was successful with the mother by his side.
She said, parents used to say, ‘Do politics, don’t mind, but study. Even during his prison life, he used to say, “You don’t mind staying in jail, but take care of your health.”
This time Bangmata Begum Fazilatun received Necha Mujib Medal – Advocate Sahara Khatun (posthumous) in politics, Anima Mukti Gomez and Mocha in education, culture and sports. Nachima Zaman Bobby, Dr. in the study.
