The billboard will pay tribute to the father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib and all the martyrs who died on the night of August 15, besides the famous quotes of Bangabandhu’s Golden Bangla will be presented in a sad manner. Various developments and achievements of the Awami League government will be widely presented later. Besides, smart electronic billboards will be used to make people aware of various important issues of health and social development. The billboard has been installed at the junction of three roads opposite the 50-bed hospital gate of Barura municipality in such a way that it is visible to passengers and pedestrians going to Comilla from Barura Bazar via Lalmai and similarly to passengers and pedestrians going to Kali Bazar via Bataichari. Besides, patients and visitors coming to the hospital and every person coming to the market can see various information and documentary images about the Day of Mourning through this smart electronic billboard. It is noted that Shafiuddin Shamim has been working on socio-economic and infrastructural development, education-health and poverty alleviation in the area as a continuation of the multi-faceted development activities of the government. . On August 5 at 3 pm Comilla (South) District Awami League vice-president A. Z. M. Shafiuddin (Shamim) officially launched the smart electronic billboard. Former member of Comilla South District Awami League and former Mayor of Barura Municipality Md. Bahaduruzzaman, former Joint General Secretary of Barura Upazila Awami League and Chairman of Aganagar Union Parishad Mazharul Islam Mithu, former President of Barura Upazila Awami Volunteer League and Chairman of Jhlam Union Parishad Nurul were present as special guests.
