 Steno-typist-cum-computer operator Moushumi Talukdar of Maulvibazar Chief Judicial Magistrate Court received bruised and bloody injuries- Nipul Roy, professor of Rajnagar Maulana Mufjjal Hossain Degree College. The incident took place on the 2nd floor of a flat house on Kashinath Road in Sayarpur area of Moulvibazar city at noon on August 3. Moulvibazar Model Police Inspector (Operation and Community Policing) Md. Abul Kalam admitted the truth of the incident and said – both Moushumi Talukder and Nipul Roy are husband and wife. They have 1 child. The injured Moushumi Talukder is the daughter of Ranbir Talukder of Rasulpur village of Tahirpur upazila of Sunamganj district. And Nipul Roy, lecturer of Rajnagar Maulana Mufjjal Hossain Degree College, son of Chitraranjan Das of Bindabanpur area of Kamalganj upazila. In the initial inquiry it was revealed that Moushumi Talukder, steno-typist-cum-computer operator of Maulvibazar Chief Judicial Magistrate Court, has not been at work for almost 1 year. He is humanly sick. This incident is due to a family dispute. He also said that after stabbing her husband with bloody wounds, the neighbor rescued him and admitted him to Moulvibazar 250-bed hospital. On that occasion, Moushumi Talukder’s wife tried to commit suicide by hitting her throat with a sharp weapon. After receiving the news, he was rescued and taken to the hospital. At present, the condition of 2 people is critical. No case was filed in this incident. A GD has been made to the police station. Both husband and wife are under treatment at Sylhet Osmani Medical Hospital in critical condition till this news report. Other tenants of MR Vilastha flat house on Kashinath Road said on condition of anonymity – There used to be quarrels between husband and wife. Moreover, they had no connection with other tenants. Often the door of the house is blocked from the inside. The same thing happened earlier. Even after informing the caretaker of the house, no action was taken, such a horrible incident happened today. No one answered a question whether it is possible for a woman alone to inflict wounds and bloody wounds in such a way. When asked about this, a colleague of Maulvibazar Chief Judicial Magistrate Moushumi Talukdar said – Moushumi Talukder has been absent from work on maternity leave for a long time. She has a small child. Even though that leave was over, he did not join the workplace. She is currently pregnant.
