 On the occasion of the 48th martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Mourning Day with due dignity, preparation and discussion meeting of Barura Upazila and Municipal Chhatra League was held. On Wednesday (August 2) at 5 pm, the preparation and discussion meeting started by praying for the soul of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and observing a minute of silence.

Bahaduruzzaman, former Joint General Secretary of Barura Upazila Awami League and Chairman of Aganagar Union Parishad Mazharul Islam Mithu, former President of Barura Upazila Awami Volunteer League and Chairman of Jhlam Union Parishad Md. Nurul Islam, Barura Upazila. Female Vice Chairman Kamrun Nahar Shikha, Barura Municipal Councilor Minuara Begum, former president of Barura Upazila Chhatra League Md. Farhad Hossain, Chhatra League leader Safayet Hasan Bablu and others. A discussion on Bangabandhu’s life philosophy and work was discussed in the program.
