Pakistan scored 576 runs for 5 wickets in the first innings after bowling out Sri Lanka for 166 runs. At that time, it was understood that there was a fear of losing the innings in front of the Lankans. The hosts might have thought they could at least put up a fight. But two bowlers Noman Ali and Naseem Shah finished the Lankans together. Noman Ali was more terrible among them. The left-arm spinner took the first 7 wickets alone.
