Bheramara police recovered the body of a young man named Rashidul Islam (45) from Dalua Hossain Pur field of Bheramara upazila in Kushtia. On Sunday 16th July 2023 at 9 am, the police recovered the body from the incident site and sent it to Kushtia General Hospital for autopsy. Locals said that Rashidul Islam is the son of the deceased Peer Pramanak of the village of Tetri Diar New Para in Daulatpur Upazila Hogalbaria Union. His family members said that he left Alamin Jute Mill located 12 miles from Bheramara at 9 pm yesterday. But did not return home at night. This morning, it was reported that Rashidul’s body was lying in the Hossain Pur field. Locals including family members went there and informed the police and the police rescued him. Murad Mia, Additional Superintendent of Police of Daulatpur Police Station – Bheramara Police Station confirmed the incident and said that the investigation is going on. The details of the incident will be known after the investigation.

In this direction, the common people say that the law and order situation in Kushtia has deteriorated. Children have been missing for days, killings and fights, unidentified bodies have been recovered, and bodies have been killed and left behind with rape. The last body was recovered by the police on July 8/10 this month. Yesterday, Saturday around 7:30 in the evening, Jugia Awami League – BNP clash in Ward No. 16 of the city, 3 people and 1 person from BNP were admitted to the hospital, including the general secretary of the Ward Jubo League.
