A young man named Zobair Dhali (30) of Madaripur was killed in a fire in a sofa factory in Al Ahsa, Saudi Arabia.
The deceased Jobair is the son of Yunus Dhali of Swasthal area of Alinagar Union of Kalkini Upazila of Madaripur.
According to family sources, Jobair is the eldest among the 5 brothers and sisters in the family. He also has a wife and two children in his family. Jobair Dhali went to Saudi Arabia with a loan of 3 lakh taka 2 years ago for prosperity in the world of poverty. Al Ahsa was working as a worker in a sofa factory in Hufuf Industrial City area. On Friday afternoon, 10 people including Jobair died in a fire in the factory. Later, the relatives got the news of Jobair’s death through a close relative. A shadow of grief has descended on the family.
Sharmin Begum said, “My request to the government is to send the body of my husband as soon as possible.” May my children see their father for the last time and may the government help us a little.
Yunus Dhali, the father of the deceased Zobair Dhali, said, “My only demand to the government is that my child’s body should be brought quickly.” And let the prime minister stand by us looking at the faces of these ignorant children.
When asked about this, Kalkini Upazila Nirbahi Officer Pinki Saha said, “If necessary, we will talk to the higher authorities to bring the body of the deceased back to the country quickly and if the family of the deceased applies, financial assistance will be provided as much as possible.”
