RAB-10 arrested 03 drug dealers with 10 kg of ganja from Jatrabari area

Since its inception, Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has been playing a leading role in bringing all types of criminals under the law to maintain the overall law and order situation of the country. RAB has been conducting regular operations against militants, terrorists, organized criminals, armed criminals, robbers and narcotics. RAB has continued its anti-narcotics campaign to eradicate drugs with the slogan “Let’s go to war, against drugs”. In continuation of this today 02 July 2023 A.D. an raiding party of RAB-10 conducted an operation in South Jatrabari area under Jatrabari police station of Dhaka on the basis of secret information and seized 10 (ten) kg of ganja worth approximately Tk 3,00,000/- (three lakhs) along with 03 John arrested the drug dealer. Name of arrested persons 1. Md. Abdul Malek (50), 2. Md. Saiful (31) and 3. He is said to be Md. Faisal (25). 04 mobile phones and cash- 980/-(nine hundred and eighty) were recovered from them. Preliminary investigation revealed that the arrested persons are professional drug dealers. It is known that they have been collecting ganja and other drugs from different border areas of the country and supplying them to different areas of the country including the capital. A drug case has been registered against the arrested persons in the concerned police station.
