International Anti-Drug Day was celebrated by voluntary organization Bhava in Barura, Comilla. Unity for human welfare, build a civilized society, say no to drugs, on Monday, June 26 at 10 a.m. at the Zero Point of Barura municipality, a human chain and discussion on International Anti-Drug Day was organized by Volunteers Association of Barura under the chairmanship of Md. Mizanur Rahman Bhuya, president of the organization. The meeting was held. President Shafiqul Amin Patwari, president of Comilla Barura Jankalyan Samiti, journalist Rota, Umar Farooq, president of Upazila Drug Prevention Committee, Aman Ullah Aman, parent member of Barura Haji Nawab Ali Pilot High School, spoke on behalf of the voluntary organization in the human bonding and discussion meeting moderated by Shakila Zaman, president of Women’s Rights Forum. Kavi Sohel Rana, President of Smoke-Free Barura Chai Organization, Bashirul Islam Siraji, General Secretary of Amara Baruravasi Organization, Monir Hossain, General Secretary of Barura Shaheed Smriti Government College Chhatra League, Sohag Molla, President of Kasami Nav Jagran Jubo Sangh, Organizing Secretary Rabiul Alam, Sports Secretary Siam Hossain, B Negative Donor Bangladesh, Chittagong Division President Abu Raihan and others. Speakers present at the human chain said that everyone should be aware to save every family from the world of drugs. And insisted on bringing the drug arena to the attention of the administration and taking it to zero tolerance not out of violence and revenge.
