On Sunday 25 June 2023Â Md. Tajul Islam Conference Hall of Laksam Municipality, this budget will be announced by the Mayor Prof. Md. Abul Khair, Chief Executive Officer Sumit Saha will preside over this budget.
In the budget of Laksam Municipality for the financial year 2023-2024, the total income is estimated at 183,87,41,544 taka, the total expenditure in the budget is 178,14,70,000 tk. The mayor said that the budget will be quoted as 5,72,71,544 taka
The budget showed revenue income of Rs 28,83,50,692, revenue expenditure of 25,50,70,000tk . The revenue quoted is 3,32,80,692 tk.
Development Income: 153,09,37,800 taka has been received from Government and various sectors Municipal Secretary Noor Azam Sharif, Chief Accountant Rakshan Aktar Hossain, Laxam Press Club President Tabarak Ullah Kayes, former President Abdul Quddus, former General Secretary Mojibur Rahman Dulal, Laxam Journalist Union President Kamal Uddin, Sadhanr Secretary A. Rahim, panel were also present in the budget session. Mayor Khalilur Rahma, a group of journalists working in Laksam, a group of municipal officials and municipal councilors.
