Brahmanbaria in human chain protest against killing of journalist Nadeem

A human chain was held in Brahmanbaria on Saturday to demand the arrest and exemplary punishment of the killers involved in the murder of Golam Rabbani Nadeem, the Jamalpur correspondent of Bangla News 24.com in the terrorist attack. Brahmanbaria Press Club organized this program around 11:30 am.

Speakers in the human chain said, ‘Journalists are not safe in the country. Nadeem had to die because of accurate reporting.’ The speakers demanded the immediate arrest of those involved in Nadeem’s murder and exemplary punishment, saying, ‘Not only Nadeem’s murder, but the killers of journalist Humayun Karib Balu and journalist Manik Sahar should also be brought to justice.’ The speakers expressed anger that even after an era, the murder of the journalist Sagar-Rooney couple was not prosecuted.
