Golam Razzak’s fraud in the identity of joint secretary

 Additional Secretary of Bangladesh Ministry of Agriculture, Personal Officer of “Fertilizer Management and Materials” Department, Mr. Golam Razzak, introducing himself as Joint Secretary of Ministry of Agriculture, has been causing a lot of trouble to the residents of Shyamoli residential area of the capital for the last seven years. On 9-6-2023, when Mr. Ghulam Razzak introduced himself as Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture to Mr. Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, Honorable Minister of Home Affairs of the Government of Bangladesh, the problem started. When the matter came to the attention of Mr. Utpal Barua, officer-in-charge of Sherebangla Nagar police station, who was present there, the investigation started. In the face of extensive questioning, Ghulam Razzak was forced to admit that he was neither the Deputy Secretary nor the Joint Secretary. Only the personal officer of an Additional Secretary. It has been alleged that Golam Razzak used to intimidate the other flat owners of his own building by pretending to be the joint secretary. Local residents are also victims of his various frauds. On 11-6-2023, a case of attempted murder was filed against Golam Razzak in Sherbangla Nagar police station under criminal law. Case number 22. According to the description of the case, Ghulam Razzaq tried to kill another flat owner of the same building, Al Imran, with iron rods, shovels, etc., along with outsiders. Golam Razzak’s two sons have also been accused of causing widespread chaos in the area by impersonating their father. They have many charges against them, including theft and drug use. A few days ago, a GD No. 2119 dated 28-8-2022 was registered in Sherebangla Nagar police station against Rian, the younger son of Ghulam Razzak Sahib, on the charge of mobile theft. Earlier also, evidence of embezzlement was found against Golam Razzak by collecting extra bills for service charges of the same building. When he went to protest against such theft, he used to harass other flat owners in the identity of his secretary. Local people are preparing to make human chain to escape from the torture of such criminal fraudsters.
