Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) of Bauphal in Patuakhali, Md Al Amin (42) passed away. 11-6-2023 Sunday 11.30 am Bangladesh time: He died while training in Missouri, Uttarakhand, India.
He joined Baufal on October 31, 2021. His village home is in Chunakhali village of Mahishkata union of Amtali upazila of Barguna district.
Patuakhali Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Sheikh Abdullah Al Saadi confirmed the incident. He said that the Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) of Baufal went to India for training on June 6. On Sunday afternoon, he died of cardiac arrest while on training in Missouri, Uttarakhand. When the news of his death spread in Baufal, there was an outpouring of grief among colleagues.
Today, 12-6-2023, every Monday, his lass was brought to his workshop Baufal by helicopter and his janaza was held at Baufal public ground at 11 am. People from all walks of life were present at the janaza, along with 10th National Assembly Chipwhip Asam Feroze MP, Upazila Parishad Chairman Abdul Motaleb Howladar and various political leaders including Patuakhali District Commissioner Shariful Alam, District Police Superintendent Saidul Islam PPM, Baufal Thana Officer Incharge Arichul Haque and various government officials and employees. . After the funeral, he was taken to Amtali in Las village by helicopter. After the funeral there, he was buried in the family cemetery.
