Dumki was robbed with an anesthetic spray

Patuakhali Dumki in   two cases of unconsciousness using anesthetic spray have been reported. The incident happened at the house of Mustafa Kamal Ahmed, the former chairman of Muradia Union of the upazila. According to the sources, when the former joint convener of Upazila BNP Md. Jasim Uddin Howlader and his wife fell ill, the people of the house rescued them and first took them to Patuakhali District Sadar Hospital and when the condition worsened, Md. Jasim Uddin Howlader was sent to Barisal Shebachim for better treatment. On Thursday (June 8) around 1.30 am, the thieves broke the door of Jasim Uddin Hawladar and his wife by spraying anesthetic spray through the open window of the house and fled with cash, jewelery and valuables. Md. Jasim Uddin Howlader’s brother’s son Saiful Islam Aslam Howlader and his wife Parveen Begum said that my brother-in-law Bablu Howlader called us from sleep. I went and found the door of the house broken, entered inside and saw that the miscreants had broken the lock and escaped with cash and valuables. I rescued my uncle and aunt in an unconscious state and admitted them to the hospital. He also said that the wife and children of the deceased former chairman, Mustafa Howlader, visited Dhaka. The miscreants also broke the lock of their house and took cash and gold ornaments. In this regard, the officer in charge of Dumki police station Md. Abul Bashar said that the police were sent there as soon as the news of the theft was heard at night. So far no one has filed a written complaint with the police station.
