Hon’ble Minister of Railway Ministry Nurul Islam Sujan said that Bangabandhu did politics all his life to bring smiles to the faces of poor and hardworking people. Bangabandhu’s politics was to stand tall like a hero. A beggar’s race has no respect. He also said that we want to stand tall in the world as a self-reliant and dignified country, this was Bangabandhu’s philosophy of politics. The minister said these things in the speech delivered by the chief guest at the auspicious inauguration of the Mango Special train at Chapainawabganj railway station on Thursday (08 June). Chapainawabganj District Commissioner (DC) AKM Galiv Khan presided over the event. Chapainawabganj-3 Sadar Constituency MP and District Awami League General Secretary Abdul Odud spoke as special guests, Chapainawabganj-2 Constituency MP and District A. League (Acting) President Mu: Ziaur Rahman, Chapainawabganj-1 Constituency MP and District A. Joint General Secretary Shamil Uddin Ahmed Shimul, Zilla Parishad Chairman Alhaj Ruhul Amin. District Superintendent of Police AHM Abdur Rakib was present. Railway Western Region General Manager Asim Kumar Talukder, Western Region Railway Commercial Officer Nasir Uddin, Western Region Railway Chief Commercial Manager Sujit Kumar. Shah Sufi Noor Mohammad, Divisional Manager, Western Railway, delivered the welcome speech. Journalists from print media and electronic media of the district were also present.
