Body trade under the guise of highway food hotel business in Kushtia, 4 arrested

Under the EB police station of Kushtia Sadar, Mahishadanga-Bittipara food on the Kushtia-Jhenaidah highway, middle-aged women are engaged in sex trafficking. On the basis of such allegations, on Tuesday 6th June 2023, the EB Thana Police arrested the hotel owner Shyakom along with two middle-aged women and a customer in a raid at the hotel of Shyakom, adjacent to the road connected to Bittipara Karimpur. Accused hotelier Shackom (45) is carrying on this body business under the cover of food hotel business by bringing middle-aged women from different places. Around half a hundred food hotels have been built along Kushtia Jhenaidah highway from 11th mile to Bittipara Karimpur link road. Out of which about 6/7 hotels are already running a thriving body business avoiding the eyes of the administration. Recently, some hotels have been built in a very flashy manner, which is convenient for customers to notice. Before the last three months, some people were arrested in front of the Bittipara oil pump and in two hotels with the oil pump on charges of illegal sex trade. However, it is known that they got out of jail within a month and engaged in the same business. Even after knowing these incidents, many people do not open their mouths for fear of honor. On the other hand, due to this women’s business, the youth of the rising age of the area are constantly in danger. As a result, parents of young people spend their days worrying and worrying about their children. Locals want remedy for such misdeeds. In this regard, EB police station officer Annoor Zaid said, we conducted a raid based on secret information and arrested 4 people red-handed. Legal action has been taken against them.
