16 more students in the hospital during summer

Another 16 heat-sick students have been admitted to hospital in Comilla’s Daudkandi. The condition of two of them is critical. However, their identity was not immediately known. On Wednesday (June 7) at around 11 o’clock in the upazila, Gouripur Subal Aftab High School and Bilkish Musharraf Girls’ School took them to the hospital when they fell ill. Earlier on Tuesday, a schoolgirl named Habiba Akhter (12) died of heat illness in Gouripur Subal Aftab High School. In this incident, the school was closed for two days. Daudkandi upazila health officer Dr. Tauhid Al Hasan confirmed this information.
