RAB-10 has arrested Arif, absconding accused in rape case

Since its inception, Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has been playing a leading role in bringing all types of criminals under the law to maintain the overall law and order situation in the country. RAB has become a place of trust for the victims of innocent people by suppressing heinous crimes like fraud and rape along with operations against militants, terrorism and drugs. In continuation of this, yesterday on June 05, 2023 AD, a raiding team of RAB-10 conducted an operation in Rai’s Bazar area under Mohammadpur police station of the capital Dhaka based on the secret information, the fugitive accused rapist Md. Arif (23), father- Jalil Molla, Sang. – Pantapara, Police Station – Dasar, District – Madaripur, A/P – House No-77/4 South Saidabad, Police Station – Jatrabari, Dhaka arrested. During preliminary interrogation, the arrested accused admitted his involvement in the said incident. The arrested accused has been handed over to the concerned police station.
